History:
The Lion Game Park was established in November 1966 on over 200 hectares of open grassland with an emphasis on predator conservation. It serves a vital function of enabling tourists to encounter lions up close. More than 80 predators are fenced in four different prides separately from the other wildlife and consequently do not hunt for their food.
The Tour:
Be driven through the 4 separate lion packs, roaming in their separate camps, including the rare white lion. Experience amazing close up views and encounters with the lions as well as the rare white lion. An antelope area also provides photo opportunities.
The Experience:

If your time in Johannesburg is short, this game park is ideal to provide you with a fantastic introduction to one of South Africa's predators.
This game park is not intended to replace a Pilanesberg or Kruger National Park Safari but provides an opportunity to experience lions in a manner that you probably were not able to do before. There is a lion cub area that allows for the most incredible opportunity to interact and play with cubs. There is also a giraffe feeding platform for an eye to eye chat with the resident giraffe, who you can also feed. It has become common for foreign tourists to give of their time for a week or more to work with the lions and cubs on a day to day interaction basis.
